The open data behind ZOVA, credited.

Every source here asks for credit under its license or terms. This is that credit.

About this page

ZOVA’s analysis is built on public and open data. Most of it is U.S. government work in the public domain and needs no credit. The sources below are the ones whose license or terms ask for credit, with that credit given exactly as each asks for it.

Where a report draws on one of these sources, its sources list repeats the credit, including where the source only fed a ZOVA score, and every sources list links back here.

OpenStreetMap

What ZOVA uses it for. Businesses mapped near a property in Tampa and Miami (trade-area occupants), the points-of-interest count in the Retail Site Quality score, and building outlines on the map. The Retail Site Quality score counts OpenStreetMap features tagged amenity, shop or office inside each census tract and ranks tracts by that count.
